Proverbs 3:5-6

“‘I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior. I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I am God. Also henceforth I am he; there is none who can deliver from my hand; I work, and who can turn it back?’”

You can trust God because he has the absolute authority to carry out his loving purpose in your life!

“I work, and who can turn it back?” The answer? Nobody. This entire universe exists because God willed it to exist. He said, “Let there be…”—that was all it took for the miracle of Creation.
When God comes to you and tells you that he will cause all things in your life to work together for good if you will love and trust him no matter what, you can trust him. He has expressed his love for you in words, proved his love for you at the cross, and confirmed his love for you in your daily life.

And today he is saying to you, “You can trust me, because I have the power to do whatever it takes to fulfill my loving promise to you. I am in control.”
