What do we do about water
Today we are going to look at the 3rd bowl judgment.
Revelation 16:4–7 (NLT) — 4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying, “You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments. 6 Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward.” 7 And I heard a voice from the altar, saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.”
In the 3rd trumpet judgment, 1/3rd of the world's rivers and springs were impacted by some sort of meteor. As a result, many people died from drinking the water. Now the rest of the world’s rivers and springs are turned to blood. What impact will that have upon your life?
The Phoenix metropolitan area derives its water from the Salt River Project, the Colorado River, groundwater, and reclaimed waster water. If one source was affected, they would still have other sources to draw upon. Phoenix has 8 water treatment plants. What if all sources of water are affected at once. There would be no way to provide sufficient water for everyone. Now multiply that throughout the state, the nation, the world. You will see a run on bottled water. Unfortunately, there won’t be enough for everyone.
What about people in 3rd world countries where they depend on wells and such for their water sources. If many people died from the 3rd trumpet judgment, how many will die as a result of this 3rd bowl judgment?
Many people have been and continue to buy stockpiles of food and other essentials items to survive a doomsday scenario. Well, they better make sure to stockpile bottled water because they are going to need it.
The answer isn’t to stockpile. The answer is to turn to Jesus, repent of your sins, and receive His gift of salvation. It’s not too late.
