Water Baptism

Baptism is how we as followers of Christ declare publicly what God has done inwardly. It is an outward symbol of an inward reality. Because our baptisms are done outside, we schedule them in the spring, summer, and early fall, as needed.

On July 21st, we had the privilege of baptizing 14 people. I believe 8 of them were children. For some, this was the first time being baptized. Others had been baptized as children and wanted to be baptized again with fuller knowledge and greater appreciation of what they were doing. I praise God for the willingness of these folks to declare publicly that they had decided to follow Jesus.
